Product Manager - Trading Platform

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for trading platforms (web and mobile).

- Understand and translate advanced trader needsincluding charts, order types, margin trading, and algorithmic tradinginto actionable product features.

- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and business teams to create intuitive and high-performance trading interfaces.

- Define product strategy, prioritize features, and align execution with overall business goals.

- Partner with backend teams to optimize order management systems, latency, and trade execution performance.

- Ensure platform compliance with SEBI and exchange regulations while enhancing functionality and user experience.

- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities.

- Track key performance metrics (e.g., order success rate, session performance, retention) and drive continuous product improvement.

- Stay updated with trading ecosystem innovationsAPIs, algo-trading integrations, and data visualization advancements.

What You Bring:

- 36 years of product management experience, ideally within stockbroking, trading, or fintech platforms.

- Hands-on experience in product development for trading systems or brokerage applications (e.g., Zerodha, Upstox, Angel One, Dhan, 5paisa, etc.

- Strong understanding of capital markets, order lifecycle, SEBI regulations, and risk management.

- Technical familiarity with APIs, OMS (Order Management Systems), and performance optimization.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with cross-functional stakeholders.

- A passion for building intuitive, fast, and reliable trading experiences.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to real-time market data systems, charting tools, and trading APIs.

- Experience working with algo trading, margin systems, or portfolio management features.

- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles specific to trading applications.

- Experience in SQL, data analytics, or A/B testing for product optimization
