We are looking for an experienced Product Manager - Trading to lead the strategy, development, and execution of trading products across asset classes.
The role requires deep understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and user behavior to build high-performance, scalable, and compliant trading solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution for trading platforms (equities, derivatives, FX, or commodities)
- Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to deliver seamless trading experiences
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market trends, client feedback, and regulatory needs
- Work closely with engineering teams to build low-latency, high-throughput trading systems
- Enhance order management systems (OMS), execution workflows, and trading interfaces
- Monitor product performance, trading volumes, and user behavior to drive continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (SEBI, RBI, global regulations where applicable)
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities for product differentiation
- Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
- Coordinate with stakeholders including traders, brokers, risk teams, and compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of experience in Product Management, with strong exposure to trading or capital markets
- Deep understanding of financial instruments (Equities, Derivatives, FX, Commodities)
- Experience working with trading platforms, OMS, EMS, or brokerage systems
- Strong knowledge of order types, market microstructure, and trade lifecycle
- Ability to work with technical teams on APIs, system integrations, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fintech, brokerage, or investment platforms
- Familiarity with algorithmic trading, high-frequency trading (HFT), or quantitative strategies
- Understanding of risk management systems and margin frameworks
- Exposure to global markets and multi-asset trading platforms
