Role Summary : - Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department of Promotion for Internal Trade & Industry (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce. It hosts teams working with various Govt. initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG. - Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India intended to catalyse startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. We are a young organisation looking for candidates that are passionate about India, especially its startup ecosystem. You will be part of the Product team at Invest India, responsible for taking the Startup India Portal (https://www.startupindia.gov.in/) to the next level. This portal has a userbase of 3.5 lakh and is a crucial source of information and support for Indian Startups, connecting them with investors, mentors, incubators and other stakeholders of interest. It also offers valuable tools for startups, including free courses, software, templates, market research reports, information about government schemes, and more. In this job you will be expected to do: a. End-to-end management of third-party vendor responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining the portal b. Working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end c. Prioritization and road-mapping of tasks related to product features, in conversation with DPIIT & team d. UX/UI wireframing and prototyping e. Management of workload of developers and helping them produce clean, efficient code (for both front and back-end) based on specifications f. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems g. Run backend analytics for the website and app - GA, Google Web developer and other useful tools for the platform to improve user engagement metrics Only apply if you have: - 2-5 years of experience in product management - Expertise in algorithms and wireframing - Expertise in PMC Tools like Slack, Basecamp, Trello, etc. - Having a notable Scrum Master Certification would be a plus point - Experience using Google Analytics or an equivalent website performance measurement tool - A genuine interest in startups and startup ecosystem - Great time and vendor management skills - This role is not a project management role.
