Wearables Product Manager

Science Team | Full-Time | In-Office (Hybrid) | Bangalore

Are you ready to own the product charter for a wearables company selling to more than 100 countries? Do you want to set the health-experience for millions of customers worldwide? Then read on.

About Ultrahuman:

Ultrahuman ($125M FY26 revenue, ~6000 Retail doors, 100+ countries) is one of the world's leading smart-ring and health-wearable companies - an Indian-built global brand, headquartered in Bangalore and sold in 100+ countries. We make the Ultrahuman Ring AIR (one of the world's lightest smart rings), the M1 glucose platform, Ultrahuman Home, and Blood Vision - one connected health platform across wearables, glucose, home, and blood. We did around $125M in revenue in FY26 - founder-led and growing fast, competing with the likes of Oura and Whoop.

The Role:

The Ultrahuman Science Team turns scientific insight built on our own data into shipped, trusted features across our Ring, M1 CGM, blood and urine biomarkers, and Performance Lab assessments. We are hiring our first dedicated Science Product Manager to own that end-to-end: take the science live in the app or web, and scope brand-new features out of the data we already hold. Above all, you will be the customer's voice inside a science team: the person who keeps asking what the user actually wants to know, turns our data into the answer, and gets backend, firmware, web, the apps, design, and data aligned to ship it.

In a typical month you will take a refreshed metric or model live in production, scope a brand-new feature from what users actually want to know, and shape how a change shows up in the app so it lands clearly. The common thread is customer judgment and the ability to make ambiguous, cross-team work ship without waiting to be told how.

What You'll Do:

- Be the customer's voice on the Science team: turn "what does the user actually want to know?" into the bar for what we build, and hold every team to it.

- Ship the science into production: take new metrics, scores, models, and algorithms live in users' hands, driving backend, firmware, web, the apps, and design, and owning the scope, sequencing, and trade-off calls.

- Turn our data into new features: find the highest-value features hiding in the data we already hold (sensor signals, derived metrics, logs, smart tags, questionnaires, and biomarkers), pressure-test them for user value, prototype fast, and drive the winners live on app and web.

- Make the science legible and trusted in-product: own the in-app studies, feature cards, explainers, and onboarding that make a metric make sense and feel credible, including how you communicate a change so users understand new numbers instead of getting confused.

What This Looks Like in Practice:

- Shipping science to production: Take a new VO2 max algorithm or a refreshed biological age estimation live, coordinating backend, firmware, the apps, and design to deploy, surface, and explain it.

- New features from existing data: Turn 100M+ nights of our own sleep data into a new sleep insight or coaching feature, proven on our own cohort before it ships.

- Bringing the science into the product: When a metric or algorithm changes, decide how users see and understand it (the number, the explanation, the onboarding) so the science lands as credible, not confusing.

Who You Are:

The two things we can't coach:

- Relentlessly customer-first: you start from the user, not the data. You're the one always asking what the user actually wants to know, and you can point to a non-obvious insight about a user that changed what your team built.

- You align people and get things shipped: you can take an idea to founders, a CTO, or a lead engineer, get everyone rowing the same way, and drive ambiguous cross-team work all the way to done, without handholding or positional authority.

Also Important:

- A product manager in consumer or digital health: you've shipped user-facing products or features end-to-end with engineering and design.

- Fluent in wearables and their data: you understand wearable devices, the data they produce, and the consumer apps built on them, including what the metrics mean and how people actually use them.

- Real product sense: you prioritize what to build from a mix of user need, strategic context, and business impact.

- Comfortable around science: you can read a paper and hold your own with our scientists, who will help you go deeper.

Experience:

Typically 4 to 5 years in product, ideally with some health, digital-health, or wearable exposure. We index on trajectory and the shape of what you have shipped, not the exact number of years; if you are a little earlier in your career but have clearly outgrown your current scope, we want to hear from you.

How We Work and Who Thrives Here:

You will be the first dedicated PM on the Science team, so you bring the product culture rather than inherit it. People do their best work here when they are energized by ambiguity, low on ego, quick to adopt a better idea no matter where it comes from, and comfortable moving fast in a young team without much process. If you need a mature product org and clear guardrails to thrive, this particular role will not be the right fit, and that is worth knowing up front.

What You'll Gain:

- Ownership of the surface where our science reaches users.

- Range across the full wearable and health-data stack, sensor signals to shipped features.

- Direct collaboration with the engineering, design, and data teams building Ultrahuman.
