Product Manager - Payments Gateway

Product Manager - Payments Gateway | UPI, BBPS, Netbanking | Mumbai

Role Overview

Own and scale core payment gateway products across netbanking, UPI, BBPS, and merchant payments. You will work closely with banks, billers, and merchants to deliver reliable, high-performance payment experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

- Own end-to-end payment lifecycle (checkout, authorization, routing, settlement)

- Define and execute product roadmap aligned to business and ecosystem needs

- Improve transaction success rate, latency, and reliability

Integrations & Execution

- Lead bank and merchant integrations, onboarding, and go-live

- Define PRDs, APIs, and integration workflows

- Work closely with engineering and external partners to deliver releases

Performance & Optimization

- Track and improve success rates, failures, retries, and conversion

- Optimize checkout and payment routing logic

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with banks, billers, and internal teams

- Ensure alignment with UPI, BBPS, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

- 8 years in Product Management (payments / fintech / banking)

- Strong understanding of payment gateway, UPI, netbanking, BBPS flows

- Experience with API-led integrations and high-scale systems

- Exposure to banking/payment ecosystem and merchant onboarding

- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
