Product Manager - Payment Method Integration & Solutions - FinTech/BFSI/Payments

About the Role:

We are looking for a domain-expert Product Manager - Payment Method Integration & Solutions to lead the core backend infrastructure and payment rails ecosystem. This role sits at the heart of our transactional switch matrix. You will be responsible for building and managing the direct technical integrations to external financial infrastructure-including retail banks, card networks, and regulatory switches-ensuring institutional-grade transaction resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Core Rail Architecture: Own the roadmap and backend lifecycle execution for deep financial infrastructure integrations across UPI Switches, Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking pipelines, and digital wallets.

- Transaction Performance & Routing: Architect smart-routing engines and fallback mechanisms to maximize Payment Success Rates (PSR) and Transaction Success Rates (TSR), minimizing latency and handling high-concurrency bank downtimes.

- Recurring & Advanced Workflows: Lead the integration design for automated recurring billing networks, mandate management infrastructures (UPI AutoPay, E-mandates), instant clearing systems, and automated settlement modules.

- Regulatory & Security Compliance: Partner directly with Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams to map complex RBI mandates, NPCI product guidelines (UDIR, Central Mapper), tokenization standards, and PCI-DSS compliance protocols into active core system designs.

- Technical Pipeline Management: Author high-complexity technical specifications, input-output switch API models, reconciliation file formats (SFTP), and custom database tracking criteria for complex clearings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years of dedicated Product Management ownership embedded in core banking payment switches, core gateway infrastructure, or direct network integrations (Networks).

- Domain Expertise: Mastery of the Indian payments landscape, payment switch protocols (ISO 8583/ISO 20022), card tokenization frameworks, refund/chargeback clearing algorithms, and settlement workflows.

- Analytical Command: Strong data analytics capabilities using SQL, Power BI, or Python to perform transaction funnel deep-dives, trace structural error codes, and audit system capacity metrics.

- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or an MBA from a Tier-1 Business School is highly preferred.
