Job Title: Product Manager - Machinery Loan

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Strategy:

- Develop and manage the machinery loan product suite (new & used equipment financing).

- Design loan structures, pricing models, and credit programs aligned with business goals.

- Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and partnership models.

- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to refine product positioning.

Policy & Process Management:

- Formulate product policies, credit norms, and operational guidelines in coordination with Risk and Compliance teams.

- Streamline processes to ensure faster turnaround time (TAT) and superior customer experience.

- Collaborate with technology teams to digitize loan origination and underwriting workflows.

- Ensure adherence to RBI, company, and audit regulations in all product processes.

Business Support & Growth:

- Work closely with sales and channel partners to drive product adoption and volume.

- Develop incentive structures, training modules, and communication materials for field teams.

- Monitor product performance metrics (disbursal, yield, delinquency, profitability).

- Introduce innovative schemes and tie-ups with OEMs, dealers, and aggregators.

Risk & Portfolio Management:

- Monitor asset quality, early delinquency trends, and product-level profitability.

- Recommend policy changes based on portfolio analytics and market feedback.

- Support internal audits and regulatory reviews related to machinery loans.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of machinery / equipment finance products and market dynamics.

- Ability to design product programs, pricing models, and process frameworks.

- Analytical mindset with data interpretation and MIS reporting skills.

- Cross-functional collaboration with business, risk, and operations teams.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).

6-10 years of experience in product management within NBFC / Bank (Machinery, SME, or Equipment Finance domain).

Prior exposure to process automation, LOS/LMS implementation, or fintech partnerships is an added advantage.
