Product Manager - Liabilities - FinTech

About the Role

We are hiring a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager - Liabilities to join a rapidly growing FinTech leader based in Mumbai. This role is pivotal in owning and scaling liability-side products such as digital savings accounts, current accounts, term deposits, prepaid wallets, or other cash management solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building customer-centric digital products in retail banking or FinTech environments, with a deep understanding of compliance, risk, and tech-enabled journeys. You will play a key role in partner management, regulatory alignment (RBI guidelines), API integrations, and GTM strategy, working across cross-functional teams to bring innovative financial products to life.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the product roadmap and strategy for liability products including savings, current accounts, and deposits

- Design and execute seamless digital onboarding, KYC, and transaction workflows in line with regulatory norms

- Collaborate with partner banks/NBFCs on product co-creation, integrations, and service enhancements

- Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive offerings to identify new opportunities and product enhancements

- Work closely with engineering, design, data, legal, compliance, and operations to drive delivery

- Track product performance metrics and ensure profitability, adoption, and scale

- Build mobile-first, intuitive, and secure digital experiences to boost user engagement and stickiness

- Ensure end-to-end product compliance with RBI and regulatory guidelines for liability products

Desired Profile

- 9-12 years of relevant experience in FinTech, Neo-banking, Digital Banking, or BFSI product management

- Strong understanding of liability products, retail banking regulations, digital KYC, and financial product design

- Experience in API-based integrations with banking partners and working in agile delivery environments

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities

- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for customer-centric innovation
