Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, managing, and communicating investment products for the Asset Management Company. Being a part of Products, the candidate will work closely with various functions such as Investment, Sales, Compliance, and Operations, etc., to offer new products that can cater to the diverse needs of investors and as per market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibility:

- Conceptualize, develop, and support the launch of new investment products (Mutual Funds, AIFs, PMS) in partnership with Fund Management and Investment teams.

- Manage the ongoing maintenance of existing products, including positioning, product reviews, portfolio understanding, and lifecycle management.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, macroeconomic indicators, valuations, and emerging investment themes to support product strategy and innovation.

- Work closely with the Sales and Distribution teams to enable effective product positioning, distributor training, and investor solutioning.

- Liaise with Investment, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Due Diligence teams to ensure timely execution and strict regulatory adherence.

- Develop product communication for investor and distributor engagements.

- Develop, update, and maintain ongoing product collaterals for new and existing offering schemes

- Perform monitoring of the scheme performance versus benchmarks and peer sets, and highlight insights, risks, and improvement opportunities.

- Track industry developments, competitor products, regulatory changes, and new asset classes to continuously enhance product relevance.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or related discipline.

- Prior experience in Product, Research, Investments, or related roles within Asset Management is preferred.

- Strong understanding of mutual fund products with working knowledge of AIF and PMS structures.

- Research background with exposure to market analysis, valuations, and performance evaluation is preferred.

Functional / Technical Skills:

- Product conceptualization and end-to-end lifecycle management

- Strong market research, performance analysis, and valuation understanding

- Ability to work with fund managers and interpret investment strategies

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills

- Investor communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities

- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements under SEBI

- High analytical aptitude and attention to detail
