Your responsibilities in this role will be: - Identify and solve the biggest, most high-leverage problems to solve through the product - be obsessed with problem solving, no matter what it takes - Own and drive metric improvements through product which are aligned with the organization's goal and strategy - Own the product experience & lifecycle, and be an advocate for the user - ensuring changes going in the product never compromise the user's experience - Create yearly, quarterly, monthly roadmaps for the product - ensuring the highest impact items are well prioritized and aligned with all stakeholders - Execute the roadmap with precision, and excellent project management skills - display immense bias for action, stakeholder management, collaboration & time management skills - Conduct user research through effectively designed surveys, user calling, interviews, focus group discussions, analyzing user metrics to identify the key problems to solve - Analyze large amount of complex user data to find patterns and infer actionable insights - Design, document and execute carefully designed experiments to quickly iterate and learn if solutions are working or not - through highly detailed PRDs, design documents, rollout strategies and instrumentation requirements - Work closely with engineering, design, analytics and business teams to execute solutions - Follow the agile methodology of product development - through backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum and product demo cadences - Ensure end-to-end ownership of every feature or fix going in the product - right from ideation, prioritization, specification, design, development, testing, release and impact analysis - Maintain high quality trackers and dashboards for close metric monitoring - Perform root cause analysis (RCAs) for any breakages or issues to ensure corrective and preventive actions are clearly identified and executed - Ensure visibility of metrics and progress of initiatives to leaders, business teams and other stakeholders via weekly and monthly review cadences What will success look like in the next 6 months: - You will have significantly improved the Hiring experience on the platform as measured by relevant metrics like NPS, CSAT, Retention % etc. Ideal profile for this role: - Minimum 5+ yrs of experience in Product management on consumer facing internet products - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions - Engineering/MBA from top-tier college - Prior experience in analytics or engineering would be an advantage - Should be ready to relocate to Bangalore. This is a work-from-office job, hence presence in Bangalore would be mandatory - Preferably performing the above activities in a startup like Ola, OYO, Flipkart, Amazon, Pharmeasy, 1MG, BigBasket, Cars24, No Broker, My Gate, Licious, Zolo Stays, ZoomCar, Dunzo, Clear Tax, Swiggy, Myntra would be a big plus.
