Product Manager (InsurTech)

Location: Mumbai (5 days WFO)

Experience: 2-4 years in product management

About the Role:

We're looking for a hands-on Product Manager to join our AI-first InsurTech startup. You'll be responsible for building and optimizing products that help Indian consumers manage their insurance portfolios better. This role demands someone who can execute fast, think strategically, and work closely with users to build products they love.

Must-Have Requirements:

Technical Proficiency:

- Strong understanding of software architecture (APIs, databases, system design)

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, particularly LLMs and their applications

- Comfortable discussing technical trade-offs with engineering teams

- Experience with mobile app development lifecycle

Proven Product Thinking:

- Track record of building successful products/features from 0 to 1

- Experience with user research, wireframing, and product discovery

- Data-driven approach to product decisions and experimentation

- Strong analytical skills with ability to define and track key metrics

User-Centric Approach:

- Proven experience conducting user interviews and gathering feedback

- Ability to translate user insights into actionable product requirements

- Experience in B2C product development, preferably mobile-first

Startup Mindset:

- Thrives in high-pace, ambiguous environments

- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and getting hands dirty

- Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities and market conditions

- Self-starter with strong execution skills

Good to Have:

- Previous experience in fintech, insurtech, or lending products

- Understanding of the Indian financial services landscape

- Experience with regulatory compliance in financial products

- Familiarity with commission-based business models
