Job Overview: As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle of key areas within a digital insurance platform. This position requires a balance of strategic vision, executional excellence, and a deep understanding of both user experience and business outcomes within the InsurTech domain. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap: - Define and execute the product vision and strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs. End-to-End Product Development: - Lead the full product lifecyclefrom ideation and requirement gathering to design, development, launch, and ongoing optimization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality product execution. Customer-Centric Innovation: - Conduct market research and gather user feedback to uncover pain points and new opportunities. Translate insights into features that elevate the user experience. Stakeholder Engagement: - Liaise with internal teams (leadership, sales, operations) and external partners (such as insurance providers) to ensure product-market fit and regulatory compliance. Data-Driven Product Management: - Use analytics and KPIs to track product performance, identify areas for enhancement, and drive continuous iteration and improvement. Process Optimization: - Leverage technology to streamline insurance workflows including quoting, underwriting, and claims management, improving transparency and efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure that all products align with IRDAI regulations and adhere to industry standards for security, ethics, and customer trust. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience: - Minimum 6+ years in product management with a strong focus on technology-driven product development. Technical Background: - Proven experience in working closely with engineering teams to build scalable, robust digital products. Insurance/InsurTech Exposure (Preferred): - Prior experience in the insurance or InsurTech sector is a significant advantage, particularly in areas like group health, property, or liability insurance. Education: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Skills & Mindset: - Proficient in Agile/Scrum product development methodologies. - Skilled in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent product management software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-first approach to decision-making. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to simplify complex processes and translate technical requirements into intuitive user experiences. - Passionate about innovation, customer experience, and continuous improvement. Bonus / Nice-to-Have: - Familiarity with APIs, digital platforms, or cloud technologies relevant to InsurTech. - Experience building B2B or enterprise SaaS insurance solutions.
