Job Title: Product Manager Health Technology
Location: Ahmedabad (On-site)

Reporting To: CTO / CPO
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager Health Technology to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of healthcare technology products.
This role requires a strong understanding of clinical workflows, excellent execution skills, and the ability to introduce data-driven and AI-assisted features responsiblywithout compromising clinical safety, usability, or regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will work closely with clinicians, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to build scalable, clinician-friendly healthcare platforms used across hospitals and health systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritisation.
- Translate clinical, operational, and business requirements into clear product features.
- Identify opportunities where automation, analytics, or AI-assisted functionality can improve efficiency and decision-making.
Clinical Workflow & Product Design:
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and hospital teams to understand real-world workflows.
- Convert complex clinical workflows into intuitive digital product experiences.
- Ensure AI-assisted features are assistive, explainable, optional, and clinician-controlled.
Requirements & Execution:
- Create detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Define functional requirements for AI-assisted features such as:
- Auto-suggestions.
- Smart defaults.
- Summaries and pattern detection.
- Alerts and prioritisation logic.
- Ensure manual workflows remain fully functional alongside AI-assisted features.
Data, Compliance & Safety:
- Partner with engineering and compliance teams to ensure:
- Data privacy and consent management.
- Auditability of system decisions.
- Clear separation between clinical judgment and system assistance.
- Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the single point of ownership across:
- Clinical teams.
- Engineering and QA.
- Sales, pre-sales, and implementation teams.
- Support product demos, pilots, and structured customer feedback loops.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
- Define and track success metrics such as adoption, usability, and clinical acceptance.
- Monitor real-world usage and clinician feedback.
- Continuously iterate based on outcomes and evidence rather than assumptions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Bachelors degree in:
- Engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Biomedical, or related), or
- Health Informatics / Healthcare IT, or
- Life Sciences with strong exposure to healthcare technology.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager (HealthTech preferred).
- Strong understanding of hospital workflows (OPD, IPD, diagnostics).
- Experience translating complex clinical workflows into structured product requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on data-driven or AI-assisted features.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
Good-to-Have:
- Clinical or medical qualifications (MBBS, MD/MS, BDS, MPH).
- Formal exposure to clinical medicine, public health, or hospital systems.
- Hands-on experience in clinical practice, hospital operations, or healthcare delivery.
- Experience with HMIS / EMR / EHR platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (no hands-on modeling required).
- Experience with automation, analytics, or rule-based systems.
- Background in healthcare consulting or hospital IT.
