Product Manager - General Insurance

The Role: The role is with a Leading General Insurance Company.

Position: Product Manager.

Department: Product Development.

Line of Business: Non Motor.

Location: Mumbai.

Responsibilities:

The position is expected to work on multiple products under the banner of lifestyle products for designing new products, modification of existing products, VAS for new products and adherence to product related regulatory notifications.

The position is expected to manage end to end product cycle from conceptualization to launch of the product and would also involve cross functional liaising.

- Product Filing Readiness.

- Preparing filing documentation.

- Product Modification.

- VAS penetration within New Products across product lines.

- Product Development Governance.

- All the filing documents to be in compliance with the Product Filing Guidelines and other related Regulations.

- Adherence to Product Development SOP.

- Query Management IRDAI & GARO.

- Reporting for Monthly Product Governance Council.

- Governance.

- Regulatory and compliance related activities.

- Ensuring cross functional liaison for product filing, query management, system readiness & launches as per Product Development SOP.

The functions with whom co-ordination would be required are Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Claims, Marketing, Sales,etc.

Qualifications: Any Graduate / Post Graduate.

Experience: 5+ years.
