ROLE (Purpose of the Role)  To handle the overall objectives of the product portfolio including product management of existing products, new product development and profitability for the existing business  Key Responsibilities of this role:   - Overall Business plan and target designing for each product category of existing business  - Determining product portfolio and segmentation of the portfolio  - Identification of new product categories to enter  - Budgeting, planning and allocation of resources for all product segments  - Designing product briefs   - Successful product/market launches   - Increasing market share and ensuring targeted sales volume and value  - Product pricing and inventory control  - Interacting with internal and external agencies to ensure on-time new product introduction  - Competition analysis.  Qualification:   PG Diploma in Marketing or Product Management.
