Role Overview:

As a Product Manager in the construction chemical sector, you will serve as the bridge between technical innovation and market demand. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of specialized chemical products, working closely with R&D teams, supply chain experts, and sales leadership to ensure our portfolio remains at the forefront of the building materials industry. Your day-to-day will involve analysing market trends, evaluating competitive landscapes, and translating complex technical specifications into compelling value propositions for architects, contractors, and developers. By driving the strategic roadmap and ensuring seamless product launches, you will directly influence the company market share and set new benchmarks for performance in the construction chemicals space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the end-to-end new product development process, from initial conceptualization to commercial launch, to ensure a robust and innovative product pipeline.

- Define and execute comprehensive product strategies by analysing market gaps and customer feedback, enabling the business to capture emerging opportunities in the construction sector.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and manufacturing, to align product features with technical requirements and quality standards, ensuring superior performance on-site.

- Develop high-impact marketing collateral and technical documentation to empower the sales force and educate key stakeholders on the value proposition of our chemical solutions.

- Monitor product performance and lifecycle metrics, implementing data-driven adjustments to maintain profitability and market relevance in a competitive landscape.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full product lifecycle within the building materials or construction chemicals industry, with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market.

- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex market data and technical specifications, translating them into actionable strategies that drive business growth.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with technical teams, external consultants, and senior leadership.

- Proven capability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Qualification:

- A degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, complemented by an MBA from a reputed institute, providing a solid foundation for strategic decision-making.
