About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Product Manager (Agri) with 3 to 6 years of experience in the banking sector. The role involves managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization and strategy to execution and evaluation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to design competitive products, drive adoption, and deliver value to the agribusiness segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product strategy and roadmap for agriculture-focused banking solutions.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify product opportunities.
- Develop detailed business models and define product positioning and pricing.
- Own the product lifecycle from ideation, development, and launch to performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, risk, operations, and technology teams for seamless execution.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance through data-driven analytics and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and banking guidelines.
- Mentor and guide team members to achieve business and operational goals.
- Partner with technology teams to enhance digital solutions for the Agri segment.
- Engage with customers, farmer groups, and industry experts to gather feedback and insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Agriculture, Finance, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in Product Management within Agri/Agri-Banking/Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of agri-business models, rural markets, and financial inclusion.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business modeling skills.
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
- Knowledge of agricultural value chains, farmer financing, and rural banking products.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration between business and technology teams.
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms, mobile-based solutions, and Agri-fintech innovations.
