
Job Description - Product Manager (Mumbai HO)
Education: B.Sc. + MBA (Marketing)
Experience: 4- 5 years in FMCG
Role Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for managing sales and marketing plans, launching new products, analysing market trends, and supporting the sales team to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and marketing strategies to achieve market share and profit goals.
- Identify new product opportunities and coordinate with the development team.
- Provide market forecasts and analyse competitor activities.
- Plan promotions, farmer meetings, trials, and other marketing activities.
- Manage product pricing, packaging, and marketing schemes.
- Ensure all marketing activities stay within the approved budget.
- Study market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor brands.
- Evaluate performance of new products and review sales reports regularly.
- Provide product and technical training to the sales team.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong sales and marketing planning skills.
- Good at market and competitor analysis.
- Ability to manage promotions and work with cross-functional teams.
- Good budgeting skills and ability to evaluate campaign results.
- Good computer skills and willingness to stay updated with industry trends.
