
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product discovery and development for WMS-2 core and workflow modules, including entities like Inventory, Orders, and Tasks etc.
- Translate warehouse operations and enterprise SOPs into well-structured, scalable workflows and UI mockups using tools like Cursor or vibe-based prototyping.
- Collaborate deeply with tech leads to make architectural trade-offs that balance configuration, performance, and maintainability.
- Take a strong stance against short-term feature requests that compromise architectural integrity or platform scalability.
- Own product documentation, PRDs, APIs, workflows, and screen flows, and ensure end-to-end clarity for engineering teams.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery in close coordination with engineering.
- Deliver internal and client demos, explaining product workflows to sales, customer success, and enterprise clients with clarity and confidence.
- Participate in roadmap planning, balancing new feature velocity with tech debt reduction and platform stability goals.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of AI-powered capabilities such as smart put away, pick path optimization, and exception detection.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from Engineering Background
- 3-5 years of total software engineering experience, ideally in backend development
- 1+ year of hands-on product management experience in a SaaS, logistics, supply-chain, or B2B platform environment
- Proficiency in writing PRDs, defining API contracts, and collaborating with developers on architecture and performance.
- Comfort with creating UI mocks and workflow diagrams without a dedicated design team.
- Strong understanding of scalability, modular design, and technical debt management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present roadmaps, host demos, and align diverse stakeholders.
Good to have:
- Experience in building or operating WMS, OMS, or ERP systems.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration, microservices architecture, or configurable rule-based systems.
- Experience designing and explaining complex operational systems to non-technical users.
- Hands-on familiarity with Figma, Cursor, or any prototyping tools for functional UI/UX.
