The Product Manager is responsible for driving product development, product implementation, integration for financial institutions in the merchant payments business. The role requires independently driving the product metrics and strategy with measurable outcomes.
- Manage and take ownership of product end- to-end: including doing market research, defining scope, gathering and prioritizing requirements and managing product launches.
- Drive clarity on complex and ambiguous projects
- Work with cross-functional teams that include engineering, design, marketing and growth
- Develop products with specific focus on revenue and strategic growth of Merchants and Acquirers.
- Develop a product roadmap for the Merchant VAS & ensure seamless product functionality
- Sharp focus on understanding customer, marketing, ecosystem and competition insights.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that the user experience (UI/UX) is intuitive, seamless, and delightful.
- Work with internal and client facing teams to develop enablement plans, manage stakeholders and expectations.
- Ability to coordinate with various functions to ensure product roll-out within defined timelines, understand product priorities, and implement a product governance framework.
Technical Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Comfortable in handing ambiguity and navigate around problems
- Prior experience in the payments domain or enterprise SaaS organization is good to have
- Technical skills sufficient to understand complexity and work with developers to make the right technical trade-offs
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, technology trends, and market dynamics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and good business acumen with sharp focus on revenue opportunities and revenue realization
- Effective communication skills and ability to refine messages based on the audience
