Job Description :
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle for company tractors range. This includes identifying market needs, defining product strategy, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and launching innovative and market-relevant products. You will be at the intersection of market research, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure product success both in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, competitor products, and emerging trends.
- Analyze industry trends and feedback from dealers, sales teams, and farmers.
Product Strategy & Planning
- Define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for various tractor segments (20HP to 120HP).
- Prioritize features and improvements based on ROI, market demand, and customer feedback.
Product Development
- Work closely with R&D and engineering to design, test, and deliver tractors that meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Monitor product development timelines and ensure milestones are met.
Product Launch & Marketing
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams for successful product launches.
- Develop training materials and support tools for internal and dealer networks.
Lifecycle Management
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction post-launch.
- Identify and implement product improvements or phase-outs as needed.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineerin/ MBA in Marketing or Operations is a plus.
- Experience: 8-15 years in product management, preferably in the agricultural machinery, tractor only.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of tractor applications and farming practices.
- Proficiency in market analysis and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualities
- Passion for agricultural innovation and farmer empowerment.
- Understanding of both domestic and export markets.
- Hands-on experience in field trials or dealer/distributor engagement.
