Role Summary:-
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead Product Management for our Commercial Air Conditioning (AC) division. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product vision, roadmapand lifecycle strategies. The incumbent will play a critical role in driving business growth, market leadershipand customer satisfaction through a robust and future-ready product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the long-term product strategy and innovation roadmap for the Commercial AC segment (including VRF, Chillers, Ducted Systems, Packaged Units, etc.).
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management - from concept to launch to phase-out - ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
- Lead market intelligence efforts to understand trends, technology developments, customer pain points, and competitor landscape.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure timely development and successful market introduction of products.
- Own the Commercial AC product P&L, ensuring revenue growth, market share expansionand profitability.
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- Develop pricing strategies, positioningand unique value propositions for various market segments and geographies.
- Interface with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders to capture insights and build strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, certificationsand sustainability goals.
- Report regularly to the Business Head and leadership team on product performance, strategic initiativesand future pipeline.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Degree MBA preferred.
- 12-18 years of progressive experience in product management within the HVAC or Commercial AC industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of HVAC technologies, market dynamics, and customer applications across commercial and industrial segments.
- Proven track record of launching successful products and managing complex product portfolios.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Exposure to global product standards and emerging HVAC innovations (e.g., IoT, energy efficiency, green technologies) is a plus.
