Job Description:
- Product Lifecycle Manager to lead the comprehensive management of automotive products across their entire lifecycle from concept development and engineering design to commercialization, optimization, and eventual phase-out.
- This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that products remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with evolving market demands, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
- The Product Lifecycle Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and customer expectations. This includes conducting market intelligence, benchmarking competitive offerings, identifying growth opportunities, and translating insights into a structured product roadmap.
- The incumbent will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration and disciplined program execution.
Responsibilities:
- Define product roadmap aligned with market and business strategy.
- Lead cross-functional teams through development, launch, and post-launch phases.
- Monitor product performance, margins, and lifecycle costs.
- Drive value engineering, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and governance standards.
Experience:
- BE/B.Tech (MBA preferred).
- 8-15 years of experience in automotive product development or program management.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and structured problem-solving skills.
