About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of product strategies within the personal care category. The ideal candidate will have a strong brand background, a proven record of managing full product lifecycles, and the ability to translate consumer insights into innovative and commercially successful products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product management from concept to launch, ensuring strong market positioning and profitability.
- Develop and implement brand and product strategies aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to drive product performance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify consumer trends, competitive activity, and innovation opportunities.
- Manage product P&L, pricing, and positioning to maximize category growth.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend course corrections as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 9-15 years of proven experience in product management or brand management within personal care, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of product development processes.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with UK or global consumer markets preferred.
