Product Head - Mutual Fund

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy & Development: Define and execute the overall product strategy, identifying market trends and investor needs to innovate and manage the product portfolio (eg, sectoral, international, commodity funds).

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all mutual fund products comply with regulatory standards (eg, SEBI guidelines ) and internal policies, collaborating with legal and risk teams to implement and monitor compliance strategies.

- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, sales, marketing, operations, legal teams, and distribution partners, to ensure seamless product delivery and communication.

- Market Analysis & Positioning: Conduct thorough market research, competitor benchmarking, and investor behavior analysis to position products effectively and track performance against peers and benchmarks.

- Sales & Distribution Support: Work closely with sales and distribution teams, providing training and creating marketing content and sales pitches to drive product adoption and AUM growth across various channels (eg, digital, IFAs, banks).

- Customer Experience: Optimize the investor experience across different platforms (web/mobile), using data and user feedback to enhance accessibility and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: Min 8-10 years experience with Mutual Fund companies in product creation Or banks with managing, creating MF products

- Education: A postgraduate degree, such as an MBA in Finance or an equivalent professional certification like CFA or CA , is often preferred.

- Core Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential. Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks is critical.

- Certifications: NISM certifications (eg, NISM Series VA Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Exam) are often a mandatory requirement in India for individuals involved in the distribution or management of mutual funds.
