About the role

As Head of Product, you will be the link between our business teams and our engineering and technology team. Your job is to make sure that what the business needs is clearly understood by engineering, prioritised in the right order, and built the way it was intended. You will own the product roadmap and set its priorities based on both our long-term strategy and the problems we need to solve today.

What you'll own

Bridge between business and tech:

- Turn business needs into clear requirements, working with business, clinical, and operations teams to understand the problem behind each request, then writing requirements that engineering can build from without guesswork.

- Be the main point of contact between business and engineering, so questions are answered quickly and nothing gets lost between teams.

- Keep both sides informed on what is being built, when it will be ready, and any trade-offs or delays along the way.

Roadmap and prioritisation:

- Own the product roadmap and prioritise it clearly, balancing the long-term strategy with short-term problems the business is facing.

- Shape the roadmap around company goals, such as growing B2C revenue, making Hola the first stop for Australians' health needs, and making the platform ready for new countries.

- Run a simple and transparent prioritisation process that weighs requests across functions, and explain the reasoning when something moves up, moves down, or is not taken up.

Delivery with engineering:

- Work closely with engineering day to day, through sprint planning, backlog reviews, and regular check-ins, so the team is always working on the most important things.

- Make sure what is built matches the requirement, with clear acceptance criteria, testing, and sign-off before release.

- Measure success by outcomes, tracking key customer metrics after launch rather than only counting features shipped.

- Keep the platform compliant with healthcare regulation, partnering with legal, clinical, and engineering so local requirements are always met.

Team:

- Lead, coach, and grow a team of PMs, designers, and analysts, owning hiring, performance, and career development.

Must have:

- 7+ years in product management, including senior leadership

- Hands-on experience working closely with engineering teams, writing clear requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and taking features through to release

- Track record of managing a roadmap with competing priorities from several business teams

- Able to explain technical trade-offs to business teams, and business needs to engineers, in simple terms

- Product leadership in a regulated industry (healthcare, fintech, insurance or similar)

- Proven team builder and mentor of PMs

Good to have:

- Prior product leadership in healthcare

- Experience working with business teams in other countries and time zones, ideally Australia

- MBA or a degree in Computer Science/Engineering from a top-tier institution

- Track record on 0 - 1 initiatives, especially growth-focused ones

- Exposure to AI-led development cycles, with the judgment to anticipate failure points
