Wire - Product Head
Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the wire category revenue, GTM, and growth strategy for the East region
- Expand distribution footprint across electrical trade, retail, and wholesale channels
- Build and manage channel partner relationships; drive onboarding in priority markets
- Implement pricing, schemes, channel programs, and trade marketing initiatives to accelerate adoption
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Head - East and central product/marketing teams to ensure availability, visibility, and market activation
- Track competition across brands, SKUs, pricing, and channel behaviour to identify growth levers
- Manage forecasting, inventory planning, and demand generation for the wires portfolio
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and strengthen product knowledge across the sales force
Required Skills:
- 8-14 years in wires & cables, electricals, or FMCG-electricals.
- Strong understanding of the Maharashtra electrical trade ecosystem.
- Experience in scaling categories or managing wire-specific portfolios.
- Deep relationships with key electrical channel partners.
- Execution-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in high-growth environments.
