Product Director - Generative AI - eCommerce/FinTech

What You'll Do

- Own and drive the roadmap for our core payments platform (including gateway, checkout, risk, and settlements).

- Build products that scale: Design for reliability, speed, and compliance while delivering seamless experiences to merchants and end-users.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, growth, and customer success to deliver high-impact products.

Lead and mentor a team of product managers across payments, integrations, and risk products.

Use data-driven insights and customer feedback to prioritize features and improvements.

Stay on top of regulatory, market, and fintech trends to ensure our product remains competitive and compliant.

Represent product strategy in executive and partner-level conversations.

What We're Looking For

- 12-18 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading teams.

- Proven success in consumer tech startups or fintechs (e.g., payments, wallets, UPI, BNPL, or checkout flows).

- Deep understanding of payment systems, transaction workflows, and risk management.

- Experience scaling high-traffic, high-availability platforms.

- Strong analytical and technical foundation - comfortable working with APIs, data pipelines, and fraud detection tools.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A bias for execution - you ship fast, iterate faster, and own outcomes.

Nice to Have

- Experience working on UPI, card rails, or alternate payment methods in India.

- Familiarity with RBI compliance and digital payment regulations.

- Prior experience in 0- 1 or platform modernization initiatives.
