Product Analyst - BFSI

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and articulate Product Analyst with strong exposure to Capital Markets instruments to work closely with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams.

The role requires designing end-to-end technical and functional workflows, defining business logic/formulas, and validating implementations through detailed test cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work on product development initiatives related to Capital Markets and Financial Instruments.

- Design and document functional and technical workflows for complex financial use cases.

- Define business logic, formulas, and calculations; validate implementations through test case preparation and execution.

- Coordinate closely with engineering, QA, product, and business teams to ensure timely delivery.

- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.

- Participate in project planning, tracking, and coordination across teams.

- Review system outputs and ensure alignment with expected financial results.

- Communicate effectively with extended stakeholder teams and contribute to discussions and solutioning.

Domain Expertise Required:

Hands-on experience with any one or more of the following financial instruments:

- Equities

- Options & Derivatives

- Futures

- OTC Products

- Bonds / Fixed Income Securities

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong experience in workflow preparation, test case design, and project coordination.

- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (mandatory).

- Experience working in product-based environments.

Good to Have:

- Engineering background with strong technical understanding.

- Prior exposure to FinTech platforms, trading systems, risk platforms, or capital markets products.

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
