Product Analyst - Asset Management Firm

Job opening for Product Analyst role in a Leading AMC at Mumbai.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Regularly analyze and track the performance of AIF & PMS products.

- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to identify industry trends and gaps.

- Prepare product notes, fact sheets, and investment strategy presentations.

- Partner with the sales team by providing in-depth product insights and client-focused proposals.

- Liaise with fund managers and investment teams to gather data, market views, and commentary.

- Monitor regulatory updates from SEBI, RBI, and other authorities relevant to AIF & PMS.

- Maintain internal dashboards and product comparison tools for business stakeholders.

- Assist in quarterly product reviews and performance update reports.

- Contribute data-driven insights for marketing initiatives, campaigns, and investor communications.

- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to support product documentation and approvals.

Key Requirements:

- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Economics, or related discipline; CFA qualification preferred.

- 3 to 6 years of experience in product analysis, investment research, or wealth management.

- Strong knowledge of AIF & PMS structures, investment strategies, and SEBI regulations.

- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data tools (e.g., Morningstar, Bloomberg).

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Attributes:

- Prior experience with a PMS/AIF provider, wealth management firm, or asset management company (AMC).

- Familiarity with client risk profiling, suitability assessment, and advisory frameworks.

- Ability to interpret financial statements, analyze performance ratios, and evaluate fund structures.
