Overview:
As a Product Analyst at Zingbus, you will be at the heart of data-driven decision-making, supporting product innovation, operational excellence, and business growth. Your role will focus on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that shape product strategies, improve user experience, and drive measurable impact.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Business, Data, and Operations teams to understand user behavior, identify friction points, evaluate feature performance, and uncover opportunities for optimization. Your contributions will influence product roadmaps, inform prioritization decisions, and guide product iterations across demand-side initiatives and operational workflows.
This role is perfect for someone who is curious, analytical, and passionate about understanding how users interact with products-someone who loves solving problems, validating hypotheses with data, and turning numbers into actionable recommendations. You will play a key role in ensuring that the company's product decisions are rooted in accurate data, strong reasoning, and real user insights.
What You Will Do:
1. Drive Data-Based Product Decisions:
- Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to define key product metrics, success indicators, and performance benchmarks.
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards that provide ongoing visibility into product performance and user behavior.
2. Perform In-Depth Data Analysis:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on large datasets to discover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Identify user behavior segments, growth bottlenecks, conversion drop-offs, and opportunities for product or operational improvements.
3. Support Product Strategy:
- Perform competitive benchmarking and industry research to help shape product direction and long-term strategy.
- Provide analytical support during product ideation and planning, ensuring decisions are grounded in data.
4. Improve User Experience & Growth:
- Generate actionable recommendations for enhancing features, improving UX flows, and optimizing user journeys.
- Identify areas for growth across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
5. Evaluate Feature Performance:
- Track the impact of product launches by measuring adoption, usage behavior, engagement metrics, and ROI.
- Monitor KPIs to determine whether features are meeting expected outcomes and suggest improvements where necessary.
6. Experimentation & Testing:
- Work with Data, Product, Engineering, and Ops teams to design A/B tests, funnel experiments, and cohort-based studies.
- Analyze experiment results, interpret outcomes, and provide recommendations backed by data.
7. Reporting & Visualization:
- Prepare structured reports and create visualizations that simplify complex data for stakeholders and leadership.
- Communicate insights clearly, translating quantitative findings into compelling stories and actionable next steps.
8. Support End-to-End Product Lifecycle:
- Contribute data insights during every stage of the product lifecycle-from discovery and research to launch and optimization.
- Help quantify the impact of roadmap decisions and align product initiatives with organizational goals.
What We Are Looking For:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Data Science, or related fields.
- Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience using visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
Product & Experimentation Skills:
- Sound understanding of experimentation frameworks including A/B testing, cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and retention metrics.
- Familiarity with product concepts, product development methods, and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Ability to turn data into clear stories, actionable insights, and meaningful recommendations.
- Strong communication skills-comfortable working with product, engineering, and business leaders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across teams.
Experience & Interests:
- Prior internship or work experience in product analytics, business analysis, growth, consulting, or consumer-tech roles.
- Exposure to industries like mobility, travel, consumer internet, or marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Passion for understanding user behavior, product flows, market trends, and analytics-driven product thinking.
Bonus Skills:
Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis or automation is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Experience with behavioral analytics tools or event-based tracking systems is an added advantage.
