
This person will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and cost control for hotel construction/renovation, focusing on all CAPEX and OPEX procurement like FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment), and construction materials, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery by collaborating with internal teams (development, design, operations) and external stakeholders (owners, designers).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Planning: Develop procurement strategies for new projects, identify reliable suppliers for F&B, housekeeping, furniture, etc., and manage international supply chains.
Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, analyze costs, forecast cash flows, and ensure procurement aligns with financial goals.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage vendors/contractors, handling RFPs, bids, and performance monitoring.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value and cost savings.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, operations, and finance teams, as well as owners and designers.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies, provide financial analysis, and manage documentation.
Technology: Utilize ERP software (like SAP) for purchase orders, inventory, and data analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality procurement, construction, or project purchasing.
- Understanding of hotel operations and brand DNA (for luxury/lifestyle projects).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
