
JD FOR CIVIL PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONAL
A dynamic Procurement Professional having 4-8 yrs experience in Civil engineering with good analytical skill, formulate vendor per-qualification criteria & evaluation for vendor selection, negotiation and costing skill to handle various Civil & Structural contracts of Data Center / EPC Business. Experience in finalising big value PEB / Civil building is must.
Candidate should have the ability to form strong relation with all stakeholders, handle techno commercial aspects of all civil contracts, identify the best vendor / contractor and finalise contract. This role also requires to ensure post order monitoring activities including any conflict resolution.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diligently review and tabulate RFQ documents for conformity to project requirements
- Resolve RFQ related issues, if any, in consultation with concerned team before issuing the requirement
- Issue RFQ to prospective contractors and provide clarifications whenever required in consultation with Engineering and Project team
- Establish procurement strategies for best suitable cost model, benchmark price, tracking RM & commodity prices and tracking of project materials with Construction manager. Work collaboratively with construction manager and engineering team for pre- qualification and selection of contractor
- Collaborate with management in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Track supplier performance standards, and conduct the ongoing evaluation that optimize cost and delivery with highest standard of quality
- Prepare and analyse price comparative statement based on Internal estimates, benchmarking and contractual conditions
- Conclude and sign off GCC, SCC with vendors including resolution of vendor's observation
- Well versed about latest tax structure & statutory obligations
- Maintain MIS, Reconciliation of raw materials and Proposal Documents with proper tracking system in place.
- To leverage resources across all boundaries to achieve business goals, bringing all expertise necessary to address the institutions challenges to safeguard company interest against contractual and commercial risk.
- To ensure all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to in regard to the respective Procurement Policies.
- To develop excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stake holders to ensure strategic and operational needs are fully understood and incorporated.
- To work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and SOP
- Undertake other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility
Desired Profile:
i. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferably with MBA / Materials Management from leading institute
ii. Progressive procurement / contract experience at EPC / multinational corporation Extensive knowledge of contract terms and conditions and its implication with robust negotiation skills.
iii. Strong verbal and written communication skill with highest degree of ethics and integrity
