About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and proactive Procurement professionals (Manager / Officer level) to support our operations and maintenance division in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost-effective procurement of equipment, spare parts, and services critical to our projects and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, plan, and fulfill procurement needs across engineering, maintenance, and operations departments.

- Conduct thorough market research to identify, evaluate, and prequalify potential suppliers and contractors-particularly those familiar with oil & gas equipment and services.

- Ensure sourcing of quality materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables specific to operational and maintenance requirements.

- Compare quotations and offers based on cost, quality, delivery time, and service support to make optimal procurement decisions.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts or purchase agreements with vendors to secure the most advantageous terms and long-term relationships.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual terms, including timely delivery and service quality.

- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.

- Collaborate with technical and site teams to align procurement with project timelines and operational schedules.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations (local and international procurement norms where applicable).

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest process improvements in procurement.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills

- Good understanding of mechanical/electrical equipment used in the oil & gas industry

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics)

- Vendor development and management

- Knowledge of contract terms and commercial clauses

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
