Procurement Manager - Indirect Purchase - FMCG

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Purchase to lead our procurement efforts in the FMCG food sector. The ideal candidate will have over 3-8 years of experience in purchasing, supplier management, and strategic procurement, focusing on food products. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal sourcing strategies and maintaining quality standards while managing cost efficiencies across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost efficiency.

- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality capital goods procurement

- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing risks.

- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure favorable conditions.

- Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to manage stock effectively and prevent supply shortages.

- Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth.

- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market conditions to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.

- Minimum 3-8 years of proven experience in purchasing within the FMCG food industry.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Expertise in supplier relationship management and vendor performance evaluation.

- In-depth knowledge of procurement software and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
