Role Overview:

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for key raw materials, packaging materials, and other indirect spend categories within the FMCG, Cosmetics, Baby Care, or Personal Hygiene segments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure optimal sourcing, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience. This role directly impacts the company's profitability and competitiveness by securing favorable terms, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply security for assigned categories.

- Conduct thorough market analysis and supplier assessments to identify potential sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service levels.

- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective procurement plans.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, process improvements, and alternative sourcing strategies.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, commodity prices, and currency fluctuations to proactively manage procurement risks.

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management within the FMCG, Cosmetics, Baby Care, or Personal Hygiene industries.

- Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies that deliver significant cost savings and improve supplier performance.

- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Deep understanding of market dynamics, commodity trends, and supply chain risks.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
