Procurement Manager - FMCG/Consumer Goods - IIM

Mandatory Education : MBA from IIM Mumbai. 2023 and 2024 pass out only.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, vendor development, and procurement excellence. The role requires strong commercial acumen, team leadership, and the ability to build a robust supplier network while ensuring cost optimization and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management.

- Drive strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors.

- Develop alternate sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance.

- Lead and mentor the procurement team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Monitor market trends and improve procurement processes.

Requirements :

- Proven experience in supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing.

- Strong track record in vendor scouting and development.

- Experience managing procurement teams.

- Exposure to cost-saving and supplier performance improvement initiatives.

- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Preferred Background : FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Packaging, Chemicals, or related industries. SAP MM or ERP exposure preferred.
