Our client, a growing D2C fashion brand focused on handcrafted and artisanal textiles, is looking to hire a Manager - Procurement & Sourcing to lead vendor partnerships and fabric sourcing across textile suppliers and artisan clusters.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in textile sourcing or procurement, with hands-on exposure to working with fabric vendors, weaving clusters, and production partners. This role will involve managing end-to-end sourcing for fabrics, building strong vendor relationships, negotiating costs, and ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers and internal teams.

You will play a key role in strengthening the brand's sourcing network by identifying reliable suppliers, ensuring fabric quality, managing production timelines, and supporting the design and merchandising teams with fabric development and procurement planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and onboard new suppliers across textile hubs, weaving clusters, and fabric vendors

- Manage end-to-end fabric sourcing and procurement for woven and handcrafted textiles

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, artisans, and production partners

- Negotiate pricing, manage procurement budgets, and ensure cost efficiency

- Track sourcing timelines, production schedules, and vendor deliveries in line with TNA plans

- Conduct vendor visits and regular follow-ups to monitor production progress and resolve supply issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of experience in procurement, textile sourcing, or vendor management within the fashion, apparel, or textile industry

- Exposure to working with textile vendors, fabric mills, or artisan clusters

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

- Good understanding of textile processes such as weaving, dyeing, and fabric development

- Ability to work cross-functionally with design, production, and merchandising teams
