Procurement Manager

Description:

We are hiring for the position of Procurement Manager with one of the leading organization

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

- Regular review with R&D on procurement status

- Optimize time and cost for each procurement for R&D

- Suggest cheaper alternatives to R&D to optimize and cost and time

- Take part and also initiate meetings of supplier and R&D team

- Understand and analyze demand quarterly

- Based on demand, release RFQ to suppliers and create POs

- Proactive inventory planning and review with team

- Monitor the EMS shortages to ensure consistent production and

- Review of critical components shortages and strategy to de risk.

- Identifying tools to reduce cost of BOM , keeping high level of integrity and transparency

- Harmonious negotiations and improving relationship with the suppliers

- Collaborative engagement with CFT to spearhead cost reduction ideas implementation

- Build automation in order to fast ordering, handle alternate components usage and SOB, control inventory and excess inwarding, reduce line loss of EMS

- Component lifecycle management

- Geographic risk diversification, multisource, early supplier involvement in product design

- BOM Cost optimization on new projects

- Discussion with key Electronic chip manufacturers on co development of complex electronics products like Inverters, Motor controllers etc.

- Representing organization at an international platform of distributors and manufacturers, build strong network to leverage on collaboration and transparency

- Review with team and support for any critical situation

- Motivate team with purpose driven KRA, delegate responsibilities, respect personal boundaries, encourage professional development

- Review of daily imports shipments and bottlenecks

- Onboarding new logistic partners and contracting

- De bottleneck of custom clearance issues and compliances

- Should be regularly updated with DGFT policies, FTA benefits, Customs laws, International freight rates etc

Must have skills:

- BOM Cost optimization on new projects

- Discussion with key Electronic chip manufacturers on co development of complex electronics products like Inverters, Motor controllers etc.

- Representing organization at an international platform of distributors and manufacturers, build strong network to leverage on collaboration and transparency
