Role Overview:

We are looking for a Procurement professional with 8 - 10 years of experience in FMCG, Home Care, Personal Care, Cleaning Products, Chemicals, or a similar consumer - facing industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement of raw materials, with a deep understanding of sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, and international sourcing.

The role will involve managing significant procurement spends and working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the availability of quality raw materials at competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end - to - end procurement of raw materials for the product segment.

- Manage a procurement spend of approximately 2.5 Cr per month.

- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers across domestic and international markets.

- Drive strategic sourcing, price negotiations, cost optimization, and supplier development.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key raw material suppliers.

- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials.

- Conduct market research to identify alternate suppliers, new materials, and cost - effective sourcing opportunities.

- Manage international sourcing, including supplier identification and negotiations with vendors in markets such as China.

- Undertake international travel for supplier visits, sourcing, negotiations, audits, and relationship management as required.

- Ensure procurement is aligned with quality, cost, timelines, and business requirements.

- Build a robust and diversified supplier base to reduce supply risks and dependency.

- Track commodity/raw material price movements and assess their impact on procurement costs.

- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, vendor performance, and overall sourcing efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.

- Experience in FMCG, Home Care, Cleaning Products, Personal Care, Consumer Products, or a similar industry.

- Strong hands - on experience in procuring raw materials is essential.

- Candidates who have worked with formulations or consumer products will be preferred.

- Experience managing significant procurement spends and supplier relationships.

- Strong exposure to international sourcing and vendor management, particularly China.

- Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast - paced, entrepreneurial/start - up environment.

- Strong analytical and problem - solving skills with a cost - conscious approach.

- Willingness to travel internationally for sourcing and supplier management.
