Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement professional with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within software/IT procurement or a service-based industry. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in vendor management, RFP/RFQ processes, commercial evaluation, contract review, contract negotiation, renewals, and PR-to-PO operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across IT/software and services categories.

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard vendors/service providers.

- Manage RFP/RFQ processes, vendor quotations, commercial comparisons, and evaluations.

- Review basic commercial and contractual clauses, including:

1. Penalty

2. Termination

3. Pricing

4. Liability / Limited Liability

- Lead vendor and contract negotiations covering commercial and contractual terms.

- Manage catalogue pricing, rate cards, pricing structures, and commercial comparisons.

- Handle end-to-end PR-to-PO processes and ensure procurement compliance.

- Manage service and contract renewals, including pricing negotiations and commercial terms.

- Develop, maintain, and follow procurement SOPs and processes.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, legal, finance, and business teams.

- Ensure procurement activities are completed within agreed timelines and commercial objectives.

Must-Have Skills:

- 6 - 8 years of relevant procurement experience.

- Mandatory hands-on contract/vendor negotiation experience.

- IT/Software procurement or service-based procurement experience preferred.

- Experience in contract review and commercial clause handling.

- Exposure to penalty, termination, pricing, liability/limited-liability clauses.

- Strong RFP/RFQ management experience.

- Experience with catalogue pricing, rate cards, and commercial evaluation.

- Vendor sourcing and vendor management experience.

- Hands-on PR-to-PO process knowledge.

- Experience managing service/contract renewals.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Good process orientation and exposure to procurement SOPs.

Industry Preference:

- Preferred: Software / IT Procurement / Service-based Procurement

- Also Consider: Manufacturing procurement candidates only if they have strong service/contract procurement and negotiation exposure.
