Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, gathering and analyzing requirements, designing business processes, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of IT systems, data, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.

- Create process flows, wireframes, and use cases to support requirement documentation.

- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions.

- Support ETL and data-related projects by defining data mapping, transformation rules, and validation requirements (if ETL-specific).

- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support system testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.

- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- MBA/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst (3-7 years typical, depending on role).

- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).

- Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.

- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.

- Familiarity with SQL, databases, and data analysis.

- Experience with ETL processes, data mapping, and data integration projects (for BA with ETL focus).

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist).

Domain knowledge in Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or related industries.
