
Role Purpose:
Lead end-to-end process engineering, technology implementation, process optimization, yield improvement, commissioning and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead wafer-to-cell processes; optimize texturing, diffusion, LPCVD/PECVD, laser, metallization, firing, testing and sorting; improve yield and efficiency; support equipment commissioning; implement SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, RCA and CAPA; mentor process teams and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Competencies:
- TOPCon/N-Type Cell Technology, SPC, DOE, FMEA, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Process Validation, Yield Improvement, Automation, OEE.
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical or Electronics Engineering.
Desired Profile:
- 15-20 years with 8-10 years in solar cell manufacturing. Greenfield commissioning experience preferred.
KPIs:
- Cell Efficiency, Yield, OEE, Scrap Reduction, Throughput, Cost per Watt, Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), Customer Quality.
