Private Equity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and driven Private Equity / Venture Capital Director to lead deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and portfolio value creation. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in private equity or venture capital, a proven ability to evaluate investment opportunities using first principles thinking, and a robust professional network to accelerate growth for portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.

- Develop and maintain relationships with promoters and management teams of investee companies, acting as a strategic advisor.

- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, ensuring timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.

- Identify and implement value creation opportunities by leveraging your network - e.g., introducing CFOs, consultants, industry experts, and strategic partners.

- Conduct thorough market and sector analysis to identify emerging trends and new investment opportunities.

- Collaborate with internal teams to drive strategic initiatives and portfolio optimization.

Key Requirements:

- Proven track record in private equity or venture capital investing, with demonstrated experience in deal evaluation and negotiation.

- Strong analytical mindset and ability to apply first principles thinking to assess sectors, business models, and growth potential.

- Excellent relationship management skills to work closely with promoters, consultants, and stakeholders.

- Robust professional network across industries and functional areas to enable value creation.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Master's or Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree (MBA/CA/CFA) is preferred.
