About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Private Banker to join our growing Wealth Management business in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and deepening relationships with High-Net-Worth (HNI) and Ultra-HNI clients, offering them comprehensive and customized investment and wealth planning solutions.
This is an entrepreneurial role for seasoned wealth professionals who bring their own client book and seek to grow within a performance-oriented platform that values transparency, client-first advisory, and long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Bring and manage an existing client book of - 15-25 Cr+ (AUM).
- Acquire new HNI/Ultra-HNI clients through network, referrals, and industry connects.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients through consistent engagement and performance delivery.
- Investment & Advisory Services
- Provide holistic financial advice and bespoke investment solutions aligned with client goals and risk appetite.
- Offer a diversified range of products - Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Insurance, and Structured Products.
- Regularly monitor client portfolios, review performance, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Wealth Planning & Growth
- Support clients with wealth preservation, growth, and succession planning strategies.
- Collaborate with internal product specialists for tailored investment propositions.
- Stay updated on market trends, macroeconomic developments, and new investment opportunities.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all client interactions, transactions, and recommendations are compliant with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records, KYC documentation, and investment reports.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 8-12 years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management / Investment Advisory.
- Proven track record in managing HNI or Ultra-HNI relationships.
- Strong product knowledge across asset classes - equity, debt, alternates, and insurance.
- Excellent understanding of financial planning, taxation, and portfolio management principles.
- Existing experience with Banks, NBFCs, or reputed Wealth Management platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for client success.
