Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Growth:
- Develop annual marketing & patient acquisition strategy
- Identify high-revenue specialities (cardiac, neuro, ortho or multispecialty hospital etc.)
- Create growth plans for domestic & international patient segments
- Drive hospital brand positioning & market differentiation
2. Patient Acquisition & Conversion:
- Manage lead generation funnels from referrals, corporates, TPAs, PSU's , Start doctors, ATL/BTL
- Oversee call centre performance, lead nurturing & conversion ratios
- Build patient journey pipelines for OPD - IPD - Surgery
3. Doctors' Engagement & Promotion:
- Promote key consultants through campaigns, talks, CME events
- Align marketing with doctors' availability, outcomes & new procedures
- Manage reputation building for star doctors & new consultants
4. Corporate, Insurance & TPA Relations:
- Build partnerships with corporates, SMEs, insurance players & TPAs
- Pitch health camps, wellness programs & screening packages
- Ensure empanelments & corporate coverage visibility
5. International Patient Division (IPD):
- Build medical value travel channels (Middle East, Africa, CIS, SAARC)
- Manage travel partners, facilitators, embassies & cross-border branding
- Create international patient concierge & packages
6. Community Outreach & Medical Camps:
- Plan mega free camps, screening drives & public health events
- Tie-ups with RWAs, schools, colleges & NGOs
6. Hospital Branding & Reputation:
- Develop branding for departments, units & new technologies
- Manage internal branding, signage, patient materials
- Ensure adherence to NABH communication guidelines
7. Content & Communication:
- Oversee patient stories, testimonials, health blogs, videos
- Develop campaigns for new equipment, doctors & success cases
- Build thought leadership for hospital leadership & clinicians
8. Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Weekly dashboards: specialty performance, conversion ratios, digital ROI
- Competition tracking across local & regional hospitals
- Monthly analysis for course correction
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of marketing/business development experience, preferably in a 200+ bedded hospital or national level role for corporate hospital chain
- Strong corporate networking and B2B relationship-building skills.
- Experience in working with RWAs, community groups, and healthcare referral networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare marketing trends, strategies, and local market dynamics.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM and marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience in a healthcare marketing/business development role is mandatory
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented professional.
- Strong leadership qualities and team management experience.
- Ability to think strategically while delivering tactical outcomes.
