Finance - Assistant Manager / Senior Manager - Immediate Joiner
Revenue Recognition:
- Accurately record and report revenue transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Data Accuracy:
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of data in e-commerce platforms
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues related to revenue.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all revenue, tax, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., revenue operations, finance, legal) to address revenue accounting challenges and optimize processes.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue accounting.
Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue projections and actual results.
Month-end close:
- Assist in the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
Technical Accounting:
- Stay up-to-date on technical accounting matters and prepare documentation as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, IFRS 15) .
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processing systems .
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills .
- Detail-oriented and accurate .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field .
- Relevant experience in revenue accounting, ideally within an e-commerce environment .
