Organization: An early-stage Venture Capital firm investing in globally competitive deeptech startups. Key Responsibilities: As a Principal - Investment, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities for the fund - Conduct thorough analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities including market analysis, financial modeling, and assessing growth potential. - Lead investment transactions from sourcing to closing, including negotiating deal terms, structuring investment agreements, and coordinating legal and financial due diligence processes. - Lead the development of investment thesis, execute deals, and negotiate term sheets and investment agreements. - Continuously monitor the performance of portfolio companies, provide strategic guidance, and support their growth initiatives. - Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying key value creation opportunities and potential risks. - Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including fundraising, partnerships, and market expansion. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and access to high-quality investment opportunities. Key Skills/Abilities: - Ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment. - Proven experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with a focus on early-stage investments. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate complex investment opportunities to internal and external stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, make sound investment judgments, and lead deal execution processes. - Deep understanding of technology sectors and strong network within the startup and entrepreneurial community. Qualification/Experience Required: 1. 7-10 years of experience in Venture Capital investments, in a top tier consulting firm, as a startup founder, or in a role working closely with Startups. 2. Investing experience required. 3. Technology background required (Experience or Education).
