Principal - Power BI Developer - 10 - 12 years - Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Gurugram

We are looking for a Principal - Power BI Developer who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technology to deliver impactful Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.

The role involves understanding business needs, translating them into technical specifications, leading Power BI delivery, managing project milestones and guiding analysts/developers. Exposure to Supply Chain or Integrated Operations will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand, gather and document business requirements.

- Translate business requirements into high-level technical specifications for BI and analytics solutions.

- Design, develop and oversee the development of Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Coordinate with Power BI specialists, review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy.

- Track project milestones, plan deliverables and provide progress updates.

- Lead and guide analysts/developers while ensuring adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align BI solutions with business objectives.

- Ensure data accuracy, reporting standards and optimal dashboard performance.

Requirements:

- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, dashboard development and performance optimisation.

- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and validation.

- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

- Experience in project tracking, milestone planning and delivery management.

- Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation and presentation skills.

- Experience in leading or guiding analysts/developers and managing BI deliverables.

- Exposure to Supply Chain or Integrated Operations will be an added advantage.
