Principal - Performing Credit Key Responsibilities: - Credit Underwriting & Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough credit underwriting and risk analysis for various investment opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the Risk team and Finance team to ensure comprehensive evaluation. - Due Diligence Oversight: Lead key diligences such as legal, financial, valuation, ESG, commercial, and tech diligence. - Post-Investment Monitoring: Oversee post-investment activities including coupon collection, monitoring collateral cover, and managing top-ups as required within the portfolio. - Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of 3 Senior Analysts, ensuring the effective execution of daily tasks and responsibilities. Required Skills and Experience: - Professional Background: Experience in handling risk and underwriting functions within buy-side firms, particularly Private Credit Funds (domestic and foreign). - Industry Exposure: Prior experience in working with Investment Banking firms and evaluating deals across various sectors, especially in the high-yield space. - Educational Qualification: MBA from a premier institute (preferably IIM) or Chartered Accountant (CA). - Work Experience: Post-qualification experience of 8-10 years, with exposure to multiple products such as credit and mezzanine financing.
